For more than 15 or even 20 years Hann Bay has become a hall because of this pollution that negatively impacts the environment to pose a public health problem. As a result, the state through the national sanitation office of Senegal ONAS has engaged with the support of donors such as the French development agency and the EU for the implementation of industrial sanitation works and to accompany industrialists to equip themselves with pretreatment units before discharging the effluents into the collective network that will be built with this project.
