Senegal is hosting the 9th World Water Forum from 21 to 26 March 2022, with the theme: "Water Security for Peace and Development". The Dakar Forum is of particular importance in view of the positive impacts expected in terms of improving access to water and sanitation in Africa and the world and promoting "Destination Senegal".
Its success requires, among other things, a good management of international transport, reception, transfers and domestic travel of participants and guests to the Forum.
In this perspective, the Executive Secretariat of the 9FME puts at your disposal a free service of reception and transport taking care of the transfers arrivals/departures and the internal displacements during the whole week of the Forum.On 19 and 20 March 2022, hostesses and reception agents will be available at Blaise Diagne airport in Dakar to welcome, inform and direct participants to the shuttles. On 26 and 27 March, the same system will be in place to facilitate boarding formalities. Throughout the week of the Forum, hostesses and reception agents will be present in the main hotels, in the buses and at the Forum's activity sites.
From 21 to 27 March 2022, a free transport service will be available to ensure the various trips between the hotels and the Forum sites (Dakar ARENA, CICAD, Dakar Expo). A system has been set up with lines identified from 7 clusters grouping the nearby accommodation sites. The Regional Express Train (TER) also provides transport for all participants between the TER station in Dakar and the TER station in Diamniadio.
