Climate

The objective of this session is to discuss SfN adapted to the Senegalese context and allowing to support the concepts of green growth or green economy in order to reduce the impacts of climate change on the sustainable use of water resources. The panel will present and deepen :
- Challenges and issues related to climate change on water resources in Senegal - Water security and the concept of circular water economy
- Natural solutions to increase resilience to the impacts of climate change

This session looks at cross cutting solutions that cuts across the thematic areas and generates a multidisciplinary dialogue across disciplinary areas surrounding water

Conversations on water issues are often dominated by water sector, water experts and specialised civil society organisations. Our session aims to change this. We need to hear new voices. With young leaders emerging all over of the planet in business, media, technology, civil society, and governments, if they turn their leadership to water, it would be a powerful way of approaching, understanding problem and addressing causes of inequalities. We want to help the water community by bring in new leaders in an exciting way.
