Justification

In 2020 SEN'EAU launched the Centralized Technical Management(GTC)project in order to repatriate all the information from the production sites (factories, boreholes, suppressors, reservoirs) of the leased perimeter, Drinking Water Supply(AEP)in urban and semi-urban areas of Senegal.

The finding is that about half of the sites, mainly boreholes, have no remote management and cannot be monitored continuously and in real time. Incidents and outages are frequently reported due to water shortfalls noted by service subscribers.
