The launch of the regional pre-Forums took place in Saint-Louis on 23 November 2021. Organised by the Executive Secretariat, in collaboration with national institutions and civil society, the regional pre-Forums aim to mobilise all national actors and prepare their participation and contribution to the Forum. The first pre-Forum was a great success with a strong presence of authorities and different actors of the region. It is continuing in the different regions of Senegal.
Each region will then organise inclusive exchanges in order to draw up a contribution document for the Forum and to determine the areas of participation in the event. The aim of this inclusive approach is to make Dakar 2022 a Forum for local populations.
