The organization of the 9th World Water Forum was discussed at the Council of Ministers on Wednesday 11 March 2020. The President of the Republic, regarding the process of organizing the 9th World Water Forum in Senegal, informed the Council that on Friday 21 February, he had chaired a meeting devoted to this major event, scheduled from 22 to 27 March 2021.
Concerning this event, he requested the Government and the national and international organizers to make all the necessary arrangements for its success. He stressed the need to prepare well for the Summit of Heads of State and Government scheduled on that occasion, in the presence of the leaders of the major international institutions.
