In preparation for the 9th edition of the world’s largest water event, to be held in Dakar from 21 to 26 March 2022, we are pleased to inform you that the 9th World Water Forum Stakeholders Meeting will be organized in Diamniadio (Senegal) at Centre International de Conférences Abdou Diouf (CICAD) on 14 and 15 October 2021.
This second and last major preparatory meeting will be an opportunity to mobilize political and thematic stakeholders by creating a bridge between the Thematic content of the Forum and the Political Process.
The Stakeholders Meeting will promote political debates on the central and transversal themes to be discussed in the Forum, enabling the coordination between the work accomplished in the past months by the Thematic Working Groups with the four main Political Segments (Ministerial, Parliamentarian, Local and Regional Authorities and River Basins).
